Really great apple crisp. Really great apple crisp.
Number of Servings: 4


    4 medium apples peeled and cut up
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 stick butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon


Cut up peeled apples into 2 qt. baking dish (preferably glass)
Mix dry ingredients. Cut COLD butter in small pieces into dry ingredients with a pastry cutter, mixer or knives until it resembles bread crumbs. Top apples with mixture. Bake in 375 oven for approximately 55 mins or until apples are bubbling, top is golden, and fork sinks easily into apples. Serves 4 generously. 338 calories per serving. (You can always have a smaller portion... yeah, right!)
