    6 Cups - Penne (Uncooked)
    1 lb - Italian Sausage, pork
    2-3 tbsp - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 Whole Green Bell Pepper
    1/2 Yellow Bell Peppers
    1 Whold Red Bell Peppers
    1 med to large Onions
    1 tsp - 1 tbsp Crushed Red Pepper (to taste, more if you like it spicy)
    2 tsp Minced Garlic
    28 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
    2 1/2 Beef broth/stock
    1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
    1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
    1 tbsp Oregano
    1 tbsp Basil


Cook Sausage in oven for approx 30 min. While Sausage is cooking, cut pepper and onions. Add olive oil to large skillet over med. heat and sautee Bell Peppers, Onion, Garlic and Crushed Red Pepper flakes until peppers are slightly tender. Then add crushed tomatoes, beef stock, sugar and seasonings (to taste).
Boil Penne in seperate pot for approx 12 min. While penne is cooking, remove sausage from oven and cut into 1/2 inch slices and add to sauce and let simmer until penne is done.
Drain penne and add sauce mixture to penne stir well, let stand for about 5 min. and serve. Makes approximately 8-10 servings (1 to 1 1/2 cups each serving).
