    1 cup flour
    2 Tbsp cocoa
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 Tsp baking powder
    1 stick butter
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 cup dark brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla

Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt. Set aside. Melt chocolate till smooth and set aside. In mixer, beat butter till creamy. Add granulated sugar until thick and creamy. Add brown sugar. When combined, add eggs one at a time, beating only to mix. Stir in vanilla and melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients in two batches, beating until just combined. Remove from mixer and stir up fro bottom to ensure that everything is mixed well. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes. Use a silpat or parchment paper on cookie sheets. Set oven to 375 degrees. Use a small ice cream scoop or form into walnut sized balls. Put some granulated sugar in a shallow bowl and add cookies. Roll all over in sugar and set on baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes for soft cookies, 10 minutes for crispy. After removing from oven sprinkle with sugar again, then remove to rack to cool. Store in closed container.
