Vegan pastry...A little chewy rather than flaky, but makes pretty darn good pasties, calzones or pot pies. ...Just change the seasoning...And its fantastic on the calorie and nutrition count. I found the idea by Hidy_lady on:

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Pumpkin, cooked, 180 grams or butternut squash
    white flour (UK), 300 g
    Egg, fresh, 1 medium
    Salt, 1 dash
    Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    *ground tumeric, 1 tsp or other seasoning of choice

Directions

Use left over roasted squash or pumpkin. Add flour, egg and remaining ingredients. Mix together.
Rest in refrigerator for a minimum of 20 minutes or overnight. Roll out for preferred application.
Bake as you normally would. 160C/350F for a minimum of 20 minutes.
