    2 tsp olive oil
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
    1 green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp dried thyme
    1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4tsp coarsely ground black pepper
    4 (4 oz) thin-sliced skinless boneless chick breasts
    1/2 cup shredded reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese
    8 ounces Italian bread.


1) Heat 1 tsp of the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, bell peppers, and thyme; cook, stirring occasionally, of the salt, and 1/8 tsp of the black pepper, cook two minutes and transfer to a bowl.

2) Sprinkle the chicken with the remaining 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper. Heat the remaining 1 tsp oil in the skillet. Add the chicken and cook 3 minutes. Turn the chicken over and top each piece with 1/4 cup of the onion mixture and 2 tbsp of the cheese. Cover the pan and cook until the cheese melts, about 2 minutes

3) Meanwhile, mound 1/4 cup of the remaining onion mixture onto each of the sandwich bottoms; top with chicken and cover with the tops.
