Introduction

Easy version of Chicken Tetrazzini using whole wheat pasta Easy version of Chicken Tetrazzini using whole wheat pasta
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    12 oz pkg. Whole Wheat Pasta, cooked
    Chicken Breast, 3 cutlets, cooked
    Cream of Chicken Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz)
    Peas, frozen, 1 cup
    Light Cream or Milk
    Seasoning to taste
    Olive oil Cooking Spray

Directions

Makes 4 servings

1. Cook pasta according to directions on box, I used penne pasta.
2. Cut up chicken into about 1/2" thin slices, set aside.
3. Combine cream of chicken soup and cream, cook until smooth, add chicken, season to taste, let simmer, you may need to add a little more cream, you want the consistency of a pasta sauce.
4. Add peas.
5. Drain pasta and rinse with cold water until all the has washed off (this keeps the pasta from sticking and overcooking when added to sauce)
6. Add pasta into sauce, stir until all is coated.
7. Enjoy, top with Parmesan cheese if desired
