Introduction

This is the basic recipe. I often replace 1/2 cup of flour with a combination of natural bran, wheat germ, and flax meal. Delicious with marmalade. I also use these to make individual strawberry shortcakes. I also sometimes reduce the milk to make a stiffer dough, roll it out and make cinnamon rolls. You can do almost anything with this recipe. Very good and very simple. I find my dough raised best by letting it rest for about 15 minutes in the bowl before baking. - 6/11/08
