Introduction

This is an old standby that has less calories than I thought. Like all pizzas, you can play with the toppings to your tastes. This is an old standby that has less calories than I thought. Like all pizzas, you can play with the toppings to your tastes.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

For Crust: 2 cups all purpose flour
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    2/3 cup water
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil

For Sauce: 1 can diced tomatoes w/basil, garlic & oregano
about 1/4 cup plain tomato sauce

Toppings: chopped green peppers and onions (always on mine!); 1 or 2 slices of lean ham, chopped and 1 cup shredded, reduced fat mozarella cheese

Directions

Mix dry ingredients for crust - slowly add water and oil - mix until it forms a ball. Knead on floured surface 8 - 10 times - Roll out and pat into greased pizza pan or cookie sheet, making a rim around the edges. For a crispier crust - bake crust before topping. Otherwise, add canned tomatoes mixed with tomato sauce and spread on crust. Top with peppers, onions, chopped ham and mozarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes or until cooked through.
