    Lentils, 2 cups mixed dals
    Cayenne pepper, 3 dried
    Asafoetida, 1/4 tspn
    Salt to taste


Soak lentils and cayenne pepper in water to cover for at least 2 hours. Drain and process in food processor with asafoetida and salt till coarsely ground.

Steam in 24 individual portions for 10 mins or till cooked.
