Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Flour, white, 4 cup
    Baking Powder, 6 tsp
    Milk, 2%, 1.75 cup
Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 4 tbsp

Directions

Mix flour, baking powder and milk in large bowl. If mixture is sticky sprinkle some more flour into the mixture. Take a handlful of the mixture, roll into a ball (about the size of a tennis ball) and then flatten (it will look like a tortilla but thicker). Try not to over knead it or make it to flat. Then add one tbsp to skillet and add bread. Let cook on one side 2-3 minutes (until brown) and then flip on other side, cook that side 2-3 minutes (until brown). You will need to add 1 tbsp of oil every couple of pieces. The bread will be flatter than a fry bread, but just as yummy... This recipe makes approximately 8 individual breads and is often served with soup.
