    4 large granny smith apples
    1/2 cup walnuts
    3 large eggs
    1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup corn oil (Mazola)
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    Powdered sugar for topping


REmove apple skin, core, and thinly slice. Chop nuts. Set both aside. Beat well 3 large eggs. Fodl in sugar. Add oil and stir. Add flour and stir until all ingredients until well blended. Stir in baking soda, cinnamon, slat and vanilla.

Fold in apples and nuts. Pour evenly into 13 x 9 pan (lightly sprayed with pam) Cook at 350 for 1 hour or convection bak at 325 for 350 minues

Let cool completely. Sprinkle top with powedered sugar. Tastes best the next day.
