Ingredients

    3lbs stew beef cubed
    1 lb carrots chunked
    3 large potatos chunked
8 oz package sliced bella mushrooms
    1 onion soup mix packet
1 mccormick beef stew for slow cooker mix
    2.5 oz water

Directions

Layer in the crockpot (6qt), potatos, carrots, meat and mushrooms*.

In separate bowl mix together the two mix packets and the water, and then pour over.

Put lid on and start slow cooker, needs minimum of 8 hours on low. Have done it as much as 12 hours and then held on warm another 4.

* Note: If cooking more than 8 hours, wait to add mushrooms about 4hrs prior to serving. Sometimes I start it when I go to bed and then put the mushrooms in in the morning so we can eat at lunch.
