    3/4 pound medium Shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1/4 pound Lasagna Noodles
    2 Tomatoes, sliced and skinned
    1/2 large Onion, chopped
    1/2 Egg
    8 ounces Cottage Cheese, creamy
    1/2 (8 oz.) package Cream Cheese
    1/2 cup Cheddar or Mozzarella Cheese, grated
    1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
    1 teaspoon Dried Basil, crushed
    1/2 teaspoon Salt - or to taste
    1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper, fresh ground
    1 teaspoon Sugar


Cook noodles until barely tender in a large pot of boiling water to which olive oil has been added; drain then rinse with cold water. Combine Shrimp soup and Crab to make Crab sauce, then set aside; in another bowl, blend cottage and cream cheeses with onion, egg, basil, salt, and pepper. Line the bottom of a greased casserole dish with a single layer of noodles; top with 1/2 of cheese mixture, then a single layer of noodles, all the Shrimp, then the Crab Sauce, remaining noodles, and remainder of cheese mixture.

Arrange tomato slices on top, then sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 F (15 minutes), then coat with grated Cheddar or mozzarella cheese, and bake (45 minutes longer), or until crusty brown; allow to cool 15 minutes before serving.
