    2 c. white flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. soft butter (1 stick)
    1 c. ripe bananas
    1/2 c. applesauce
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk chocolate chips


Sift flour with baking powder and salt. In separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time to butter mixture, beating well after each addition.

Add mashed bananas to butter mixture. Blend in sifted ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour into greased loaf pan 9"x 5" x3"

Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Serve warm or cold.
