This is a yummy flaky sandwich that can be made in a variety of ways and that freezes well! This is a yummy flaky sandwich that can be made in a variety of ways and that freezes well!
Number of Servings: 24


    - 2 boxes of frozen Pepperidge Farm Pastry Puff Sheets, thawed
    - 12 oz Silken Tofu
    - 2 T Ground Nutmeg
    - 8 oz Shredded Cheese if choice. I prefer Mozzarella (can buy soy cheese)
    - 15 oz bag of frozen spinach, thawed
    - 1 egg (optional)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine spinach, tofu, nutmeg and cheese in a bowl

3. Two pastry sheets come in a box. Lay all the sheets down on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with non stick cooking spray and cut into sixths.

4. Put a spoonful of filling onto one half of the pastry dough and fold in half, pinching the sides so that the filling won't come out. *

5. Brush egg on top of the pastry to make it a more golden brown color. (optional)

6. Place in oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

7. Enjoy!

Makes 24 Samosas. They freeze well too!

*Note: Samosas can be folded triangle style or square style. Either way it'll taste the same! :)
