    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Brown Sugar, 0.5 cup, unpacked
    Better 'n' Eggs egg substitute, 0.25 cup
    Whole Wheat Flour, 0.75 cup
    Promise Fat-Free Buttery Spread, 2 tbsp
    Natural Oats, 0.25 cup
    Splenda Cooking Blend, 0.25
    Nestle Chocolatier Premium Baking Dark Chocolate (53%) Chunks, 0.5 cup


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda; set aside. In large bowl combine splenda, egg substitute, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats. Stir in chocolate chunks.

Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Should make about 2 dozen cookies.

Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Makes a deliciously guilt free 50 calorie cookie!!! 3 cookies for 150 calories? Any sparkdieter can afford that!!

    My family really, really likes these. I have made these everyday since the first time almost a week ago. I subsitute honey for the splenda which adds calories, I also change the oats to 1 cup. I use real butter/canola spread. I plan to continue experimenting with the recipe with less/no brown sugar. - 1/15/08

  • My mom made these for my dad.. Hes a diabetic and she uses splenda.. I think he liked them more then I did but hey its sweets so what can I say. - 1/3/08

    Splenda and Promise are both junk. You don't ever need to be putting that into your body. For those that think that Splenda is OK, just wait til the day comes when u wake up splotches all over your face from the tri-chlorine molecule they replace the sugar with in splenda! Do the research folks! - 10/9/07

  • I expected ratings for this recipe since thats what the heading is. About 10% of the comments are about the recipe and 90% are about chlorine, measurement woes and how it's the education systems' fault (As a math teacher, I teach it.   • When these cookies first came out of the oven, they tasted okay, but I placed them in a plastic bag for storage and they became chewy. They are very small, so you can't eat just one. The fact that they only have 50 calories is great but the calories add up fast if you eat more than one. - 9/28/07
