View full nutritional breakdown of Honey Lemon Tea calories by ingredient

Introduction

We make all of our tea from the one gallon tea bags sold at GFS, like the restaurants use. I have a few recipes that I make with them, after I measure the ingredients I will add them all here. They are not as low calorie as Propels, but they are not even half the calories of store bought teas. We make all of our tea from the one gallon tea bags sold at GFS, like the restaurants use. Ingredients

    1 gallon tea bags
    1/2 cup Honey
    1/4 - 1/2 cup lemon juice

Directions

Make the tea using a coffee maker - if you have a gallon tea maker it is the fastest way, if not, just use a standard household coffee maker, fill with water and leave the tea bag in the glass carafe - not in the filter holder.

While the tea is hot (but after it has sat and brewed for at least 20 minutes), add the tea to a gallon container with the honey and fill remaining space with chilled water. Add lemon to taste.

Makes a gallon of tea.
