    1.5 cups water
    1 tbsp honey
    1 tbsp yeast
    1.5 tsp salt
    1 tbsp olive oil
    3.5 + cups whole wheat flour

    1.5 cups pasta sauce
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    0.25 cups each chopped green pepper, red pepper, onion, broccoli (or any vegetable combination of choice)
    salt, pepper, herb to taste.

    *** you can add meat if you'd like, but it will increase the calories and fat.


dissolve honey in heated water, and sprinkle yeast on top. Leave for 10 minutes or until frothy. add salt and olive oil. Add flour one cup at a time until dough comes together and is not sticky. Knead for 10 minutes. Leave in an oiled bowl, covered for 1 hour, until doubled in size. Punch down, and divide into 12 pieces. Roll each tight, and leave to rest for 10 minutes.

Combine sauce, cheese and vegetables in a separate bowl. Add desired seasonings (like parsley, garlic, basil, etc.). Roll out each piece fairly thin. Place filling in each, and fold over, sealing the edges.

Place on oiled baking sheet, and bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until crust is browned and cooked through.
