2 cans garbanzo beans, drained & rinsed
    1 c. egg whites
1 c. old fashioned oats (uncooked, dry measure)
    1 c. Picco de Gallo
Chili pepper, ground cumin, red pepper (to taste)

Blend beans in a processor. Put into large mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients. Shape into patties & cook on a griddle or pan sprayed with Pam.
Makes approx 7 (4 oz.) burgers.

These meatless burgers are not as high in protein as a burger with meat, but you do get quality carbs and fiber. No need for a bun, as you are getting both carbs and protein here.

Replace fat containing sausage with these for a great breakfast or have anytime for a great small meal. Add a fresh green salad or steamed veggies.
