    * Bob's Red Mill Vital Wheat Gluten Flour, 16 tbsp
    * Nutritional Yeast, 3 Tbspn
    * Vegetable Broth, .33 cup
    * Soy Sauce, .25 cup
    * Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    * Garlic, 2 cloves


mix together wet and dry ingredients and knead until dough is stretchy. Bring a pot of stock to a boil and then cook seitan in broth at a simmer for 1 hour.

  • Thanks for putting this in. I loved what the addition of nutritional yeast did for the flavor. I mixed mushroom broth into the mix, then simmered in veggie broth. The high protein and low fat really helps fill a need some days. I like seitan, but haven't had a 5 star version yet. - 5/4/12
