    about 2 small packages of frozen mixed veggies
    3 carrots, sliced
    2 celery stalks, diced
    2 medium potatoes, chopped or diced
    1 pound of lean ground beef, browned with one medium onion
    1 cans vegetable soup ( I use Campbell's)
    6-7 cups water, enough to cover ingredients in crock pot plus a bit extra
    seasonings of your choice; I use a bay leaf or two, some thyme and some garlic. A bit of salt or serve salt on the side.


Brown the beef and onion. Then dump all of this together in the crock pot and turn it on high for about five hours or low for 10. We love it!
