    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 5 15oz cans
    Pacific Natural Foods Organic Free Range Chicken Broth, 2 boxes
    Pacific Natural Foods Organic Vegetable Broth, 1 box
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, small
    Sweet Mayan Onion 1 Medium
    Garlic, 5 cloves
    Asparagus, fresh, 12 spear, small
    Carrots, raw, 8 medium
    Zucchini, 1 cup, sliced
    Broccoli (frozen 10 oz)
    Potato, raw, 3 medium
    Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can
    Beans, great northern, 1 can
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    1/2 Tbs Salt


Place chopped cabbage into a 2 gallon soup pot with 1/4 cup water and 1/2 Tbs olive oil and sweat it while you are chopping the rest of the vegetables (or about 20 minutes). Sautee onions and garlic in 1/2 Tbs olive oil and place in pot with cabbage. Dig around int your refrigerator and cupboards for any vegetables you may have and put them into the pot. I also like to add a can of beans or edamame for protein. Add chicken broth, or vegetable broth...or both) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 min. Makes about 32 cups.
