    6 c. homemade ham stock
    6 c. water
    12 medium russet potatoes, peeled & diced
    2 c. ham, cooked & diced.
    1 c. 2% milk
    1/3 c. flour


Add ham stock and water to a soup/stock pot and turn on a medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Add diced ham and cook for another 1/2 hour. Whisk 1/3 c. flour with 1 c. milk, adding pepper or other seasonings to taste (though this is a rich soup without spices), and pour into pot. Stir well and lower heat to medium-low. Allow to simmer for another hour.
