Ingredients
-
12 Egg whites- Whipped until fluffy
1 Cup lowfat Cottage cheese
2 scoops protein powder
1 cup oats
1/2 cup flax seed
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup wheat germ
Directions
Makes 12 pancakes, 2 per serving
Put all ingredients except egg whites in a food process and mix until uniform. Beat eggs until fluffy. Gently fold processed ingredients into beaten eggs.- Make sure that your bowl is big enough! Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter onto medium heated and sprayed griddle. cook on first side until bubbles appear in the middle and the sides begin to dry. Flip and cook until golden. Enjoy! Even my picky husband would eat these. The high egg content give them a sort of french toast type flavor.
These pancakes have between 20-25 grams of protein per serving.
