Number of Servings: 6


    1lb extra lean sirloin or extra lean ground turkey breast
    1 med. onion chopped
    3 stalks of celery
    1/2 tsp chopped garlic
    1 can of black beans
    2 cans of chili beans
    1 can of diced tomatoes with juice
    2 cups of water
    1 cup ketchup
    2pks equal
    1/8 cup chili powder
    1 tsp sal or to taste
    cheyenne pepper to taste


brown meat in a large pan using Pam spray. Drain any remaining oil. Push to one side of the pan and add onions, celery and garlic. Cook until veggies begin to soften. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 min. The longer it cooks the better. Also more chili powder adds to the flavor. Should make 8 1-cup servings. Or I eat a cup and a half - so 6 servings.
