Ingredients

    8 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced about 1/4 inch
    1 c sugar
    3/4 c flour
    1 Tbsp cinnamon
    1/2 c water

Directions

Peel, core and slice apples. Place in baking dish and pour over them 1/2 c water with 1 Tbsp of cinnamon in it. Mix thoroughly. In a separate bown, combine flour and sugar. Work in butter with two knives or pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over apples, cinnamon and water. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
