Ingredients

    3/4 cup oat groats
    1/2 cup raisins
    ground cinnamon and ginger to taste
    salt to taste

    butter
    honey
    ground flax seeds

Directions

Ok, so I'm a weird oatmeal cooker. First I soke my oats overnight in warm water (2 1/4 cups) and a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (raw, unfiltered). Then I add cinnamon, ginger, raisins, and salt and cook the oats on a really low heat for a really long time (like hours). Then I store for morning eating.

I add a pat of butter, some honey, and a tbsp of ground flax seeds before I dig in on any given morning. It's really yummy!
