    1 pound raw extra lean ground beef
    1/2 cup cilantro, fresh, chopped
    4oz. canned green chili peppers, drained, diced
    1tsp chili powder
    1tsp minced garlic
    1/2 medium vidalia onion (or other sweet onion.. red onions are good too), sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds
    3 sprays cooking spray
    4 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
    1/2 cup salsa
    1 avocado


1. Preheat grill

2. In a large bowl, combine beef, 1/4 cup of cilantro, green chilies, chili powder and garlic. Mix well and divide into 4 burgers.

3. Coat paties and onion with cooking spray. Grill turning as needed (unless you have a Foreman) to your desired degree of doneness and until onions are lightly charred and tender, about 7-9 minutes.

4. To service place 1 cup of lettuce on four plates. Top each with burger, 2 tbsp of salsa, 1 onion slice, 1/4 of diced avocado and 1 tbsp of remaing cilantro.
