    1 lb ground beef 93% lean
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 (15 oz) can black beans drained and rinsed
    1 (8.75 oz) can whole kernel corn, undrained
    1 (4.5 oz) can of chopped green chiles, undrained
    6 flour tortillas (8-inch)
    2 (8 oz) cans of tomato sauce
    1.25 cups oc shredded kraft mexican cheese
    1 tsp. minced dried garlic
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
    2 tsp. chili powder


Spray large skillet with cooking spray, add ground beef and onion cook until brown stirring frequently to break up meat. If any excess grease drain and return to medium heat. Add tomato sauce, beans, corn, green chiles and all the spices except the red pepper bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Add red pepper to taste if desired.

Spread 1/2 cup of the mixture on the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish coated with non-stick cooking spray. Top this with 3 of the tortillas, pour half the remaining beef mixture on top of the tortillas top with half the cheese. Top this lay with the remaining tortillas, followed by the beef mixture and then top with remaining cheese. Bake in oven preheated to 350 degrees for 25 minutes, cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
