Low Sodium Chili Low Sodium Chili
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 teaspoons olive oil
    1 pound ground turkey
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cups water
    1 cup grape tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    1 tablespoon garlic, minced
    2 tablespoons chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

1.Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Place turkey in the pot, and cook until evenly brown. Stir in onion, garlic and cook until tender.

2. Pour water into the pot. Mix in tomatoes, tomato paste and seasonings: chili powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, cumin, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 30 minutes
