Quick and easy, affordable granola bars that the whole family will love. Quick and easy, affordable granola bars that the whole family will love.
Number of Servings: 30


    2.5 cups rice cereal
    2 cups quick-cooking oats
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
    1/2 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    cooking spray


makes 30 bars

-place the cereal, oats and raisins in a large mixing bowl and combine.
-in a shall saucepan, mix together the brown sugar and corn syrup. Heat over meduim heat stirring constantly.
-when mixture boils, remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
-pour mixture over cereal mix combining well.
- lightly spray a 10x15 cookie sheet with cooking spray. Press mixture into pan and allow to cool.
-cut and serve.
