Ingredients

    1-2 lbs. ground beef, lean
    1 large onion chopped
    16 oz can Tomato Sauce
    21/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbl. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    2 (15 oz) cans red beans
    1-2 cans of water

Directions

Brown ground beef and onion, drain grease. In a large pan ( 5 quart) mix all ingredients together except the red beans. Bring to boil, then simmer for 2 hours. Add the red beans with the juice and simmer for another 30 min.

Serves about 12 people 1 Cup servings
