Introduction

Ingredients

    2 1/2 lb. fryer chicken
    1 quart water
    4 medium carrots sliced
    4 medium celery stalks, sliced
    1/2 T salt
    3 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper, black
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 C egg noodles, I make my own

Directions

heat all ingredients, except noodles to boiling in 4 quart pan, reduce heat. Cover and simmer until chicken is done. About. 45 minutes. skim off fat if necessary.
Remove chicken from broth; cool slightly, Remove chicken from skin and bones. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces. Add chicken and noodles to broth, heat until noodles are done 15-30 min. 8 servings (about 1 Cup each.)
