Mildly sweet with a smooth crumb. Mildly sweet with a smooth crumb.
Number of Servings: 8


    1 C. corn meal
    2/3 C. whole wheat pastry flour
    1 C. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    1 Tbs. Ener-G Egg Replacer
    1/8 - 1/4 C. water
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp sea salt
    stevia (to taste - for 1/8 c. sugar level sweetness)
    1/2 c. applesauce (unsweetened)

    Choose organic ingredients when possible.


Mix dry. Add wet to dry and blend. Do not over mix. Put into lightly greased square brownie pan, muffin pan or well seasoned preheated cast iron skillet.

Bake at 350 until batter pulls away from the sides of the tin and the edges are golden brown, about 15-25 min. Great with chili!
