Number of Servings: 6


    1 3/4 lb extra lean ground beef
    12 oz wide egg noodles, cooked
    2 cups frozen peas, thawed
    1 tbs dried parsley
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 cup dry brown gravy mix
    2 cups water
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    2 small cans mushroom pieces and stems, drained


In a large saute pan brown and drain the ground beef.
Saute the onions and garlic until tender.
Add the ground beef back to the pan.
Add the thawed peas, mushrooms, parsley, pepper, water and gravy mix.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked egg noodles and stir to coat the noodles with the gravy.
Serve hot.

Makes 6 generous portions.
