Quick and Easy spanish rice can be made with or without meat. Quick and Easy spanish rice can be made with or without meat.
Number of Servings: 8


    White Rice, long grain, 2 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 2 cloves (remove)
    Ground beef, lean, 24 oz (remove)
    Salsa, 2 cup (remove)
    *Tomatoe (chopped), 2 cup (remove)
    *Old El Paso Taco Seasoning, 2 tsp (remove)


Cook 2 cups of rice according to package directions. At the same time, in a large saute pan, saute garlic (chopped) with diced onion and peppers until onions are translucent. Brown ground beef and add to onion mixture. Add salsa, taco seasoning, and tomatoes to onions and ground beef. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Add cooked rice to onion, beef and tomatoes gradually, mixing after each addition. Serves 8 as a main dish.
Serve with salad or vegetables.
