Introduction
I created this one day when I had some extra tomatoes and an urge for spaghetti. I created this one day when I had some extra tomatoes and an urge for spaghetti.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

8 large tomatoes, crushed
1 large vidalia onion, finely chopped
4 oz fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
4 T fresh basil, coarsely chopped
2 t salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 C merlot
Directions
Mix everything together in a sauce pan. Simmer until half reduced in volume.
I used a food grinder to chop the tomatoes and onion, but a food processor would probably work as well.
