    broccoli chopped with some florets saved after cooking
    chopped onion celery and carrot
    chicken broth
    half and half
    cheddar cheese
    olive oil and butter


makes one serving
Chop onion celery and carrot and sautee in olive oil and butter till celery turns green and onion translucent
add chopped broccoli stems chopped
add chicken broth and simmer for around three minutes. add broccoli florets and continue to simmer until broccoli is tender-about 5 more minutes. test for doneness. Remove the cooked broccoli florets
Puree the soup. Add half and half. Add broccoli florets to pot Heat to serving temp
Add grated cheddar stir until melted and serve,
