Ingredients

    6 cups of romaine lettuce, finely chopped
    1 pkg shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz)
    2 cups chopped tomato
    8 oz taco-flavored tortilla chips
    1 pound ground beef
    1 1/2 cups (approx 1 can) light red kidney beans, drained
    1 cup thousand island dressing
    1/2 cup taco sauce
    2 tbsp splenda

Directions

Combine first three ingredients. This is your salad base. Next, brown ground beef and when about halfway done, add kidney beans so they are heated through. Finally, combine final three ingredients as your dressing. Serve each component (salad, chips, meat, and dressing) seperate, as this prevents wilted lettuce and soggy chips, especially in leftovers.
