    1 lb ground italian sausage
    9 Barilla Manicotti Shells
    1/4 cup onion, diced
    1 15 oz ricotta cheese, part skim
    1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
    3/4 Parmesan Cheese
    1 bottle marinara (about 16 oz or so)


Makes 9 Cannelloni. (Serves 4-5, 2 each)
Brown sausage and drain. Return to pan and add chopped onion. Simmer until onion is tender. Set aside to cool. Add 9 manicotti shells to a pot of boiling water, cook 8 minutes, drain and cool. Add (now cooled) sausage and onion to a bowl with the ricotta cheese, Mozzarella and 2 tablespoons of the parmesan cheese. Mix well. Coat the bottom of a 16x9 baking dish with a couple spoonfuls of the marinara sauce. Fill (now cooled) manicotti shells with about a 1/3 cup of the filling mixture and place in the dish. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover and bake 40 minutes at 375. Raise temperature to 425. remove cover and bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is golden.
