    2 pounds extra-lean ground beef (4% fat)
    2 cans (15.5 oz each) Kidney beans
    1 cup green bell pepper, diced
    1 cup onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic, diced
    1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
    1 can (29 oz) tomato sauce


In large skillet, brown hamburger, chopping & stirring meat with a fork so it's in small chunks, drain. Return skillet & meat to burner, add green pepper, onion and garlic, simmer on low until vegetables are tender. Transfer to a crock pot. Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir thoroughly, cook on low 4 hours. Serve hot or freeze in single serving containers.
