Ingredients

    *Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched, 1 cup (remove)
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp (remove)
    Kosher Salt - Diamond, 0.25 tsp (remove)
    Cream Of Tartar, .25 tsp (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp (remove)
    Butter, unsalted, .25 cup (remove)
    Milk, 2%, .333 cup (remove)

Directions

1. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cream of tartar, and sugar.
2. Cut in shortening with pastry cutter.
3. Carefully stir in milk.
4. Turn onto lightly floured surface. Knead 10-12 strokes.
5. Roll or pat dough 1/2 inch thick.
6. Cut with biscuit cutter straight down-no twisting.
7. Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
8. Makes about 8 biscuits.


425 degree convection oven.
