Introduction

High in cals. due to using recipe on box & my hubby puts Morton's Kosher Salt on top {you' d have to add sodium 480mg per 1/4 cup}.But as far as taste goes, it 's pretty good in my opinion! Ingredients

    1 cup Yellow Corn Meal[we use the namebrand--Albers]
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup nonfat milk
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 large egg, lightly beaten

Directions

Makes 12 servings in a 8"x8" baking pan.
1-Preheat oven to 400 degress Farenheit. Grease baking pan.
2-Combine corn meal,flour ,sugar,baking powder,and salt in medium bowl.
3-In a separate bowl,combine milk,oil,and egg in small bowl;mix well.
4-Add milk mixture to flour mixture.Be sure to stir JUST TIL BLENDED.
5-Pour into prepared pan.
6-Bake @400degrees for 20-25 min. or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Serve warm.
