    3 cups fresh strawberries
    3 tbsp Minute Tapioca
    1 cup granulated sugar
    A Deep Dish Pie Crust, use both pieces

    1/4 - 1/2 tsp for top of pie


I large bowl place strawberries, first amount of sugar and minute tapioca. Mix. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir. Pour into pie shell. Dampen edge of pastry. cover with top crust. Trim and crimp to seal. Cut vents in top.

Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake on bottom shelf in 350 Degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) oven for about 45 minutes or until cooked.

Serve with whipped cream (optional). Yield 1 pie.
