Ingredients
-
2 cans of Chicken of the Sea boneless/skinless Salmon
1 cup of Itailan Style bread crumbs
dash of minced onion (optional)
dash of minced garlic (optional)
1 egg
2 Tbs of olive oil
Directions
Makes 4-5 patties
Open and drain salmon, put into medium mixing bowl. Add oil to medium to large skillet and put on very low heat. While that's heating, break salmon up into smaller chunks with fork. Add bread crumbs and egg. Mix well. Shape into thin hamburger patties. Add patties to frying pan once pan is hot. While patties are cooking, get a plate and place a paper towel over the plate. Cook over medium heat on each side until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes depending on on how hot the oil is and how thick the patty is. As you pull the patties out, place on paper towel with plate to drain the excess oil and serve.
