Introduction

Ingredients

    One 9 oz box of no boil lasagna noodles (I used Barilla)
    One jar spaghetti sauce
    One cup mushrooms, stems and pieces (canned are fine)
    2.5 cups of shredded mozzarella
    4 oz lean ground beef
    Garlic, onion powder to taste
    Grated Parmesan cheese, to sprinkle on the top before cooking

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and drain of grease. Set to dry on paper towel. Spray a 13x9 pan with cooking spray. Spread a little sauce (about three to four tablespoons) on the bottom of the pan. Lay four noodles into the bottom of the pan. Add more sauce. Sprinkle a little cheese on top of the sauce. Add a little mushrooms and ground beef. Sprinkle a pinch of onion and garlic powder. Repeat until four to five layers are made (depending on how thick your layers are.) Cover dish with foil and put into oven for 20-25 minutes, but watch closely! The sauce is apt to burn before anything else. Remove from oven when the noodles have become soft and the sauce is bubbling. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and let set until sauce has stopped bubbling.

Makes 8 large pieces.

Serve with salad or garlic bread sticks. (Not included in nutrition information.)
