    1.5 ground beef
    1 C tomato juice
    .75 C oats, uncooked
    1 egg, beaten
    .25 C chopped onion
    1 tsp salt
    .25 tsp pepper

    combine all well. press into ungreased 8x4x2 loaf pan. bake at 350 degrees for 1-1.5 hours
