Ingredients

    7 oz pork chops
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp curry powder
    1 Granny Smith Apple (halved and cored)
    2 TBSP Brown Sugar
    1 chicken Bouillon cube (dissolved to make stock)
    1 cup sour cream

Directions

preheat oven to 325 F
sear chops in lightly greased pan
season chops with salt, pepper, and curry
place chops in an oven safe dutch oven
place apples skin side down on top of chops
fill apple centers with 1 TBSP brown sugar
cover bottom of pan with 1/2 inch of chicken stock
cover pan and bake 1 hr
carefully remove chops, not disturbing fruit, which will be a bit mushy, keep them warm.
add sour cream to pan juices, simmer and stir on stove
serve sauce with chops and fruit!
