Ingredients

    1/4 cup olive oil
1 pound pork tenderloin, trimmed of fat and cut into 1" cubes
    1 medium onion, sliced vertically
    1 jar Pace Salsa Verde
1 cup water and 1 tsp vegetable bouillon base (or 1 cup low sodium chicken broth, if you prefer)
    1 turnip, peeled and cubed

Directions

Makes 6 servings

Preheat slow cooker. Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Add pork in two batches to sear, being careful not to crowd pan. After pork is seared, place in slow cooker. Add water and bouillon to pan, scraping up bits of pork. Pour broth mixture over pork in slow cooker. Add onion and salsa.

Cook for 4 hours on HIGH, or 8 hours on LOW. Add turnip in last 40 minutes of cooking.
