We love this with mashed potatoes. We love this with mashed potatoes.
Number of Servings: 8


    2 1/2 lbs lean beef steak (round, blade,etc)
    4 cups sliced green peppers (or comb of colors)
    2 cups sliced onions (or more)
    1 28 oz/798 ml can diced tomatoes
    4 TBS HP steak sauce
    1/3 cup flour


Serves 8

Saute the onions and peppers til soft. Put meat in pan, top with peppers and onions and tomatoes. Mix the juice from the tomatoes with the HP sauce and the flour. Cover pan tightly with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 2 to 3 hours. An hour before serving, see if juice is thickened enough. If not, drain and mix with more flour to thicken, then pour back on top of meat and veggies.
